About
Who We Are
RAJRATNA FOREST FOUNDATION is a nonprofit trust which is working towards developing a natural habitat for native flora and fauna, without human interference.
We are committed to ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining the quality of soil, air and water.
“Mass tree planting does not help balance the ecosystem of the earth if the tree species isn’t native to the region. Planting non-native trees can threaten native vegetation. The use of hybrid seeds has increased agricultural productivity, but on the other hand it is leading to the extinction of native seeds.”
In this fast-growing world, most of us are unaware that many native tree species are at risk of extinction. Newly planted trees can introduce non-native pests and diseases to the native flora and fauna. In order to restore ecological balance, more must be done to save and replenish native vegetation.

Our Team
Madhavi Dwivedi
Founder Trustee
Madhavi is an environmentalist and educationist. She is founder of RajRatna Forest Foundation. She grew up in a place which was surrounded by trees and a flowing river and her home was often visited by beautiful birds, squirrels, chameleons, beetles, bees and butterflies. Later she moved to a metropolitan city and realised that those beautiful creatures have lost their home in the fast growing cities. She realised that we as humans are disturbing the ecological balance of Mother Earth which is leading to habitat loss of plant and animal kingdom. Her love for Mother Earth motivated her to give her life towards growing forests and creating a healthy habitat for all inhabitants.
